Learn about this unique waterway that allows wildlife to thrive in a very urban area! Coyote Creek is home to many fish, birds, mammals, and other wildlife. It's an oasis not just for wildlife but also for the humans who come and visit! Enjoy a casual stroll with us while we look for hawks, animal tracks, insects, and other neighbors that make their home in San Jose.

This walk is sponsored by the Santa Clara County Creeks Coalition to promote education, stewardship, and restoration of the area.

Please come prepared to walk approximately one mile on a relatively even dirt path that might be slightly muddy. Wear comfortable shoes, dress in layers. Bring your own drinking water and sun protection. Bathroom facilities are not available.

Bring binoculars if you have them, but we'll have some to share if you don't.
