Learn about which plants live around Coyote Creek and San Jose and get to know your vegetal neighbors! We'll talk about what's going on in the area, and what restoration is planned for this special creek.

Please come prepared to walk approximately one mile on a relatively even dirt path that might be slightly muddy. Wear comfortable shoes, dress in layers. Bring your own drinking water and sun protection. Bathroom facilities are not available.

Bring binoculars if you have them, but we'll have some to share if you don't.

This walk is sponsored by the Santa Clara County Creeks Coalition to promote education, stewardship, and restoration of the area.

There will be a graduation ceremony immediately following the nature walk for those who are training in our docent program.
